1. To ensure and coordinate the use and application of ICT at the district level of the Government.
2. Implementation of the Head Office's directives to provide, maintain, and support the creation of appropriate ICT infrastructure in all the offices up to the district level.
3. Transfer of technical and specialized knowledge of information technology at district level.
4. Take initiatives to serve the people in an electronic manner till the grassroots level and collect information, distribute and conduct research activities on this issue.
5. Provide assistance on field level equipment, etc., to ensure / verify the demand, quality and interoperability.
6. Assist in the preparation of standard specifications for computer networks, hardware and software.
7. Provide research, development and support in the modernization of modern technology at district level.
