Achievements
  • The government formed the Department of Information and Communication Technology under the Ministry of Science and Information and Communication Technology in 2021, with the aim of transforming the country into a knowledge-based society and middle-income country by 2021. The Information and Communication Technology Department was formed under the Ministry of Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology, restructured in the 26th, in order to accelerate the pace of development of information technology in a more speedy and orderly manner. The department is implementing various projects and programs to create employment opportunities, develop infrastructure, establish connectivity, develop ICT industry and innovate new services and create ICT education by creating skilled human resources in the ICT sector.
